Worlds and Archetypes: Photo Set Theme Park

I choose photo set one for my theme park world.

The thoughts of abandoned theme parks and scary carnivals have always haunted me. The whole reason behind theme parks is so that we can escape reality. But what if one escaped from reality, unintentionally and found themselves in an abandoned fantasy world theme park.

On the evening of October 22, 1895, 56 passengers and two bright eyed children boarded the Montparnasse train headed for Paris. Their train journey took an unexpected turn when it crashes full speed into the station. The whole town mourned as everyone on the train did not survive, including the 2 children….or so they thought.

Shortly after the impact of the train crash, the two children enter a time warp which brings them to an entrance of a carnival.

This carnival happens to be a maze, one that is designed for children that are not for the faint of heart. Along the way, the children encounter the most peculiar, strange, and terrifying characters and performers. Some of the characters you might meet are the three long-haired sisters, the gigantic human chicken, and the eleven military men stuck on the moon. At the beginning of the maze, the guests are greeted by a gaunt and ghostly mime who operates an old rundown photo booth. Inside the photo booth, three floating heads replace your own and flash bright bolts of lighting.  On the outside the photobooth, a small piece of a map is dispensed.  By interacting with these terrifying characters throughout the maze, you will start to collect pieces the map which will eventually lead you out. One of the most difficult ways to collect a piece of the map is to participate in the pig cart races.  The reason for this is the section of map is located within the pig's mouth and they like to bite. Further down the maze is a large pop up tent with coloured smoke billowing out of the top. This tent gives a behind the scenes look at celebrity witches, their secret magic spells and some wicked performances. Every hour these witches hold an interactive show in which they test their newest potions on you. If you are still somewhat human after the show, the tent leds guests to the witchery gift shop where you can collect another piece of the map. Once you have gathered all the pieces of the map, and have made it through the entire maze, you are sent outside the theme park only to find it leeds you to another maze.
